Service Description
Your story is worth more than a page in a book...it's worth an audience. As a Spotlight Contributor, you write your own piece, with a dedicated planning session and four weekly one-hour consultations keeping you supported and accountable the whole way through. We'll also put together a dedicated featured write-up and a social media spotlight drawn from your planning session, so your story reaches people beyond the anthology itself. This tier is for contributors ready to write their own story and have it seen. What's included: - A one-hour planning session covering your story, our writing rubric, and your approach - (4) Four weekly one-hour consultations to keep you moving, motivated, and on track - Light copyediting support as you write - A dedicated featured write-up - A social media spotlight introducing your story to our audience, drawn from your planning session - 30 days to complete your piece, with a 45-day contract window (because life happens) - Publication within 90 days of signing your Publishing Agreement - You keep full ownership of your story - 40% off retail on author copies, so you can sell to your own audience
Cancellation Policy
Planning & Session Schedule. During your initial planning session, we'll map out your book contribution together and schedule your remaining four check-in sessions in advance. We'll also walk you through our process from start to finish and go over any agreements required before we begin working together. 1. Session structure. Your package includes one planning session plus four weekly check-in sessions (five sessions total). Each session is one hour. 2. Missed appointments. Any scheduled session is forfeited if you don't give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule, don't attend, or arrive more than 15 minutes late. Rescheduling a forfeited session is billed separately at [$250/hr]. 3. Your piece & timeline. Your piece must be written, submitted, and approved within 45 days. Publication is guaranteed within 90 days of signing the Publishing Agreement (not from your planning session or interview date). 4. What's included. Your Spotlight Contributor package includes your check-in consultations, a dedicated featured write-up, and a social media spotlight drawn from your planning session. 5. Not counseling. Our team isn't licensed mental health professionals. This process may feel meaningful or reflective, but it doesn't replace therapy or any treatment plan you may have. 6. No guarantees. We don't guarantee sales, reception, or specific publishing outcomes. 7. Booking-specific terms. This policy applies specifically to the Spotlight Contributor tier and may differ from our other Anthology Contributor tiers (Self-Guided, Premier Contributor).
