Charge it to the Game
An industry told me there was no market for a story with an Afro-Latina as the protagonist. In true eldest daughter fashion, I said, "Let me do it," and I made it a best-seller anyway.
Thanks to the first supporters of my blogging career, I took that manuscript and created an entire publishing house so I could have the support the industry didn't want to offer. Without a large marketing budget we garnered hundreds of reviews and held down a position in the top 100 for urban fiction for weeks on Amazon. We were able to do all of that with just me leading the way. Imagine how much more we can accomplish together.
Now we are entering the final chapter. Part 4 is the last installment in the Charge It to the Game series, arriving February 2027, and we are not just closing the book...we are expanding the world it built. We are releasing merchandise, hosting live events, and doing every single thing that made this series work in the first place, except now we are doing it with a unified mission and a community behind us.
What we are building toward is a screen adaptation of the series we all know and love. That takes capital, and that is where you come in. This is an invitation to be early and to be one of the people who saw the vision before it became impossible to ignore. The industry counted us out once, and the readers proved them wrong. Now we are asking our community to help us go further than any of us could alone.
