Service Description
You've got a story worth telling, and you're ready to write it yourself. You just want the structure and support to do it well. As a Self-Guided contributor, you'll start with a 30-minute planning consultation with our team, where we'll walk through your story, our writing rubric, and how you plan to tell it. From there, you're off to write, with a 1-hour check-in along the way to help you stay on track. Once your piece is written, submitted, and approved, you'll sign our Publishing Agreement, and from that moment, you're guaranteed to see your story in print within 90 days. What's included: - A 30-minute planning consultation covering your story, our rubric, and your writing approach - A 1-hour check-in with your team as you write - Guided setup for your writing document and required agreements - Light copyediting and progress support along the way - Publication within 90 days of signing your Publishing Agreement - You keep full ownership of your story - 40% off retail on author copies, so you can sell to your own audience You tell your story your way, and we'll be right here to support you.
Cancellation Policy
Anthology Contributor — Self-Guided — Booking Policy Communication & Turnaround Timely communication keeps your project, and everyone else's, on schedule. Materials, drafts, or requests we send require a response within 72 hours. 1st missed deadline: reminder. 2nd: final warning. 3rd: you're removed from the project and forfeit your $850 fee and your spot in the anthology. Writing Timeline Your piece must be written, submitted, and approved within 30 days of your planning session. Your contract stays active for 45 days total to allow for delays. If it isn't approved by then, your contract expires and you may be withheld from the project. Compensation & Credit This is a flat-fee contribution. No royalties, and you won't appear in the book's metadata (author records, ISBN listings, etc.). Your involvement is limited to your contributed chapter. Confidentiality You may receive early access to company updates not yet public. All non-public information must stay confidential until officially announced by LexxiKhan Presents Publishing. Content Standards All content is reviewed under our F.A.I.T.H. principles — Fairness, Accountability, Integrity, Teamwork, and Honor. Content conflicting with these values may be redacted or removed at our discretion. Author Copies You'll get an order request form for copies at 40% off retail (orders take 45 days to process). Need it sooner? Email orders@lexxikhanpresents.com for a rush order; a rush fee applies. No limit on quantity. Rights & Usage You retain 100% ownership of your story. Using more than 20% of your published chapter elsewhere (outside a direct quote) requires written approval from us first, since it's part of a published, actively-sold collection. Content Approval Nothing goes live without your approval. An electronically signed document is required before publication or distribution. The Process Planning Session — A 30 minute session covering your story, our rubric, and your approach. We'll go through our process and set expectations with you. You'll sign our Client Service Agreement and set up your writing process. Write — You write your piece; we check'll check in to schedule your one hour review. Submit — You submit your piece for review and approval by the appropriate deadline. Sign — Once approved, you sign the Publishing Agreement, starting your 90-day publication guarantee. Publish — Your story goes live. By completing your purchase, you confirm you've read and agreed to this policy.
